President

Barbara is a published author and speaker whose work focuses on ethics, branding and the social, environmental and financial (triple bottom line) responsibility of the corporation. She presented leadership training to CEOs and managers on how to introduce sustainability. For those with ongoing sustainability programs, she designed programs to expand, measure and report sustainability programs and results.

Barbara delivered speeches and conducted training on sustainability-related topics including: Creating a Sustainable Vision, Stakeholder Engagement Methods that Work and Effective CSR Reporting. She is the former chair of the Metrics Task Force of the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership (2008-2010) and worked with the Task Force to develop core metrics that could be used to measure the sustainability of the San Diego region.

Barbara is a graduate of a year-long course on conducting social audits, sponsored by the Institute of Social and Ethical AccountAbility and the New Economics Foundation in London and received accreditation in related courses during international conferences on Social and Ethical Accounting, Auditing and Reporting in the Netherlands and Denmark.

In former positions, she developed of full-scale communications platforms, including marketing, PR, Web site, speeches and social media for all size companies. She held management and public relations positions and is a former Capitol Hill reporter. Her articles have been published in publications such as The Congressional Record, CSR Wire (Corporate Social Responsibility Wire) and she was a columnist for The Daily Transcript® in San Diego. Barbara holds degrees in Journalism and Nursing.


Dan Noble

Resource Management Specialist

Dan Noble is President/CEO of Noble Resources Group, a sustainable resource market development firm, based in Southern California.  He is also Executive Director of the Association of Compost Producers (ACP) (www.healthysoil.org).  He has more than 20 years of environmental market research and consulting experience in water, recycled water and recycled organics. In the last 20 years, he facilitated strategic planning sessions for emerging and Fortune 500 clients, including Hewlett Packard, Monsanto and Corning. He also has directed comprehensive environmental and water industry studies for federal and international agencies. Dan has B.A. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego and M.S. degrees in Molecular Biology and Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon, and an ABD Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, University of Wisconsin, Madison.


Meaghan Hundley

Meaghan Hundley is co-founder and principal of Live & Work Green (www.liveandworkgreen.com), a consulting firm dedicated to reducing humanity’s negative impacts on the local and global environment. Meaghan provides customized action plans, based on thorough audits so individuals at home or work can learn how to save money and reduce energy use and water consumption.  Meaghan received a B.S. in Business Administration from Syracuse University and received a certification this year in Sustainable Business Practices from UCSD.
